While Amigos Community Care is a new name, the experience and relationships behind it have been built over many years.
Founded by Diego Cardenas, Amigos brings together more than a decade of leadership experience in disability services with a fresh, community-focused approach to care.
Having served as Managing Director of STAR Inc. for ten years, Diego has developed a deep understanding of what makes quality support work — not just for the people receiving it, but for the dedicated staff delivering it.
Throughout his career, Diego has remained committed to doing what’s right for people, often going above and beyond to ensure their needs are heard and their wellbeing comes first.
It’s this philosophy that inspired Amigos Community Care.
